Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp for Teachers of PM Shri Schools

The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have selected Apex University, Jaipur as the nodal center to host a two-day IDE (Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship) Boot Camp. This event aims to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge to 200 Principals and teachers from the PM Shri School, who will undergo intensive experiential learning on Design Thinking, Business Modeling, and Enterprise Planning. Experts from AICTE and Wadhwani Foundation will be attending the event. The boot camp is scheduled to take place on the 4th and 5th of April 2024 at the APEX SITAPURA CAMPUS, JAIPUR. The IDE Bootcamps will be conducted simultaneously across 18 locations across India. This Boot Camp on “Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE)” is organized by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC), Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), jointly with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). This initiative, envisioned by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, aims to nurture the innovation, design, and entrepreneurial skills of student innovators and innovation ambassadors from higher education institutes and schools. We are among the top 4 nodal centers across India where all PM Shri teachers are going to participate on 4th & 5th April 2024.

Here's a detailed breakdown of the sessions planned for each day:

Day 1: Human-Centered Approach to Explore Innovation and Problem Solving

Registration & Networking: Participants gather and interact before the start of the program.

Inauguration: The event commences with an overview of the program and its learning outcomes by Chief Guest Sh. PR Sharma, CEO of Rajasthan Export Promotion Council, Jaipur, and Guest of Honor, Sh. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chair of TiE Rajasthan.

Central Inauguration:This marks the formal opening of the event in the auditorium.

Session 1: Let's ID8 - Igniting Innovation with Design Magic: Dr. Sheenu Jain from LNMIIT, Jaipur, conducts a session on fostering innovation through design thinking.

Session 2: Self-Discover Your Interflow: Dr. Sheenu Jain continues with a session on understanding entrepreneurial mindset and opportunities.

Session 3: Entrepreneurial Innovation: Dr. Kavya Saini from IIIM, Jaipur, leads a session on identifying and capitalizing on entrepreneurial opportunities.

Session 4: Unlocking Your Entrepreneurial Adventure: Mr. Nitin Poddar, Founder of Ginni Spectra (P) Ltd, Jaipur, shares insights on starting a business.

Session 5: Innovation in Action - Insights from Incubator Leaders: Mr. Ritesh Kocheta, Founder of Kroozer, Jaipur, shares practical insights from leading incubators.

Day 2: Ideas to Impact - Crafting Path to Business Success

Recap of Day 1 & Objective Setting for Day 2: A brief summary of the previous day's sessions and an outline of the day's objectives.

Session 6: Discovery Lab - Unveiling Customer Insights: Dr. Kavya Saini leads a session on understanding customer needs and preferences.

Session 7: Crafting Awesome Ideas & Solutions: Dr. Sheenu Jain focuses on developing unique business ideas and solutions.

Session 8: Overview on Grants and Funding Opportunities for Student Start-ups: Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma discusses funding avenues for student start-ups.

Session 9: Rapid Prototyping - Turning Ideas into Tangible Solutions: Dr. Sheenu Jain conducts a session on rapid prototyping and product development.

Session 10: Quick Math - Revealing Business Potential: Dr. Sheenu Jain explores methods for assessing the business potential of ideas.

Session 11: Innovation Spotlight - Sharing Experiences with Benchmarking Practices: Dr. Sheenu Jain shares experiences and best practices in innovation.

Closing Ceremony - Feedback & Takeaways: The event concludes with feedback from participants and closing remarks by Chief Guest Sh. N.K. Jain, President of the Employer's Association of Rajasthan.
