Apex University has consistently recognized the value of a robust and active Intellectual Property rights culture that permeates the entire research and academic community. By providing incentives for researchers and the academic community to produce high-caliber publications and creative solutions, Apex University has established a robust ecosystem for protecting the intellectual property rights of its academic community. Through a comprehensive approach to the entire problem of innovation, entrepreneurship, intellectual property rights, and technology transfer, as well as by enhancing the pedagogy and practices associated with it, Apex University hopes to play a significant role in the national innovation ecosystem.

The university has a clear policy for research and consulting that encourages and supports staff and student efforts to develop and commercialize technologies. The IPR Cell serves as a nodal organization for managing a wide range of concerns pertaining to technology transfer and intellectual property rights.

With the help of Ministry of MSME and renowned IPR experts as resource persons, the IPR Cell has been organizing workshops and seminars and has strong connections with peer groups and government agencies including the Ministry of MSME and Department of IT and Commerce, Govt of Rajasthan. In accordance with the National IPR Policy, Apex University has adopted a new IPR policy.
