NEP 2020 (Chapter 12) recommends that every Higher Education Institution establish an Office for International Affairs to handle global collaborations, mobility, and international student services. UGC also emphasises having a structured, transparent and accountable system for internationalisation. In compliance with these national-level directions, it is proposed that Apex University establish the Apex University International Relations Cell (AIR-Cell). The University has already appointed Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Singh Rathore as the Dean – International Affairs to lead the establishment and operationalisation of AIR-Cell in a phased, cost-effective manner.
The Apex International Relations Cell (AIR-Cell) is dedicated to enhancing the global presence of Apex University through strategic international collaborations and academic partnerships. It aims to support international students and faculty by providing seamless coordination and guidance through a single-window system. The AIR-Cell also promotes global research initiatives, academic mobility, and transparent international engagement processes.
